The Life of Max

Maxwell Blue Roberts passed away on Wednesday, September 13th, 2023 at the age of 17 at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Max is survived by his father Timothy Jared Roberts, mother Tiffin Michelle West, and sister Penelope Kate Roberts. 

Max was born on the snowy morning of January 3rd, 2006 in Salt Lake City and lived his whole life in the downtown area. He attended Wasatch Elementary School in the Avenues, Bryant Middle School, and finally West High School where he was a senior at the time of his passing. 

As a young child, Max enjoyed spending time with his extended family in Virginia riding tractors and splashing in the surf of the Outer Banks. Max was a passionate skier, white-water enthusiast, and outdoorsman. At the age of 14, he earned his Eagle Scout Badge with Troop 36. Max enjoyed playing the guitar, welding, and auto mechanics.

Max’s generosity, kind heart, and sense of humor touched many. We welcome all who would like to join us in remembering his life. A memorial will be held on Friday, September 22nd, 2023 at First Unitarian Church 569 S 1300 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84102 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
